APP: "Even the one who pays E38 a month is important, because that money goes a long way. We are glad that about 14 000 clients have downloaded the App and are using it for different purposes," the ESRIC GM said.
MBABANE - Adapting to the latest digital platform provided by the Eswatini Royal Insurance Company (ESRIC), the clients were rewarded with early Christmas gifts in the form of prizes worth E25 000 yesterday. This was part of the Client Celebration Campaign that began in October this year. The 10 clients became the lucky recipients, as they were chosen for the month of October. All they did was take advantage of ESRIC's App and use it to perform one of several activities. These include sharing feedback, making payments, applying for a loan, downloading the App itself, and requesting assistance or a callback.
Delivering his remarks before presenting the winners with their prizes, General Manager (GM) Zama Ngcobo explained that the campaign aims to appreciate the support of clients in making ESRIC the leading insurer in both the life and non-life divisions within the borders of Eswatini, with an overall prize money amount up to E100 000.
"We are happy that once again, we have an opportunity to appreciate our clients. We would like to emphasize that for us, the clients are equal. Even the one who pays E38 a month, is important because that money goes a long way. We are glad that about 14 000 clients have downloaded the App and are using it for different purposes," Ngcobo said.
Explaining more about the App, Ngcobo said they introduced it to allow ESRIC clients greater flexibility and easy access to the services offered. "In particular, we wanted to create a platform where clients can access services and make payments for their policies in the comfort of their homes. Moving prizes to our clients who have used the App is a celebration of the innovation path we have taken, which is shaping our future," he said. He revealed that when claiming their prizes, the clients could either request grocery vouchers or convert their winnings into premium payments
One of the winners, Musa Dlamini, was given an opportunity to make remarks and he described that this was his first time winning any competition. In jest, Dlamini said he had tried all competitions that appeared in newspapers, just for luck and never been on his side. "Actually, when I received the call that I was one of the ESRIC winners, I wasn't sure and actually suspected that it could be a scam. I am happy to have chosen ESRIC. To be honest, I did due diligence and pondered a risk assessment of different insurance schemes to invest in and discovered that ESRIC was the perfect one," Dlamini said.
He also revealed that he was among the three winners who chose the option of not taking the voucher and using the prize money to advance payment for his policy. "It feels good to know that I will not be stressed for the next six months," he said.
It was explained that the Client Celebration Campaign is still ongoing and is expected to end on December 31, 2025. For November, 10 lucky clients stand a chance to win grocery vouchers worth E2,500 each, which may be converted to premium payments, while for December, 10 clients will win cash fees vouchers worth E5 000 each.
