A strong field of 58 golfers tackled the pristine fairways in the season’s first mug event, with Shongwe’s masterful scorecard seeing off a close challenge from Lwazi Mchobokazi (67), while Cosmo Mthethwa (70) completed the net podium. Mandla A. Dlamini delivered the day’s low gross with a fine 78 in the Eswatini Royal Insurance Corporation (ESRIC)-sponsored event.
