MDC reclaim ESRIC darts league top honours

DARTS - Malkerns Darts Club (MDC) reclaimed their title as the best in the Eswatini Royal Insurance Corporation (ESRIC) E150,000 Darts League as they were officially crowned as the champions.

 

The team reclaimed their title after they were dethroned by Green Arrows, formerly Correctional Darts team, who won the title last year.

TO ESRIC customers ready for Black Friday

p>MBABANE - At least 10 lucky Eswatini Royal Insurance Corporation (ESRIC) clients will have cash to spend on Black Friday after they won grocery vouchers worth E2 500 each.

This was part of the ESRIC celebration campaign which was launched in August and would end on December 31. The next 10 winners will be announced in December. The winners were announced by the Marketing Manager Gcebile Dlamini who said that the vouchers could not have come at a more opportune time as the festive season had already started.

Incoming Mbabane Golf Club Vice-Captain Cosmo Mthethwa is the winner of the October edition of the ESRIC Monthly Mug after carding an impressive score of net 65. Mthethwa also won the gross trophy on an excellent score of 75, prevailing over last month's winner Mduduzi Maphalala. Albert Mavuso came second on net 69, with Zwelisha Dlamini coming 3rd on net 70, on a count back.

ESRIC A win this month's Business Golf League

GOLF - THE duo of Raymond Mathonsi and Sandile Chonco from team ESRIC A won this month's round of the ESRIC Business Golf League played at Ezulwini Golf and Country Club on Wednesday.

 

The pair won the round with a score of 71 points, finishing ahead of Railways A team consisting of Ray Dlamini and Gordon Bennett, who finished with 69 points. Another ESRIC team managed to be amongst the top finishers, as Thabiso Gama and Teboho Mohapeloa finished with 68 points for team ESRIC D. Homeboyz finished with 67 points in fourth place, as team Mashayinkonjane rounded up the top finishers list in fifth place with 66 points on the count-back.

ESRIC REAFFIRMS 15-YEAR PARTNERSHIP WITH ENDA

DARTS - ESWATINI Royal Insurance Corporation (ESRIC) has reaffirmed its long-standing partnership with the Eswatini National Darts Association (ENDA), a collaboration that has spanned 15 years.

During the ESRIC E150 000 Darts League Prize Presentation held at Sibane Sami Hotel yesterday, ESRIC General Manager Zama Ngcobo announced the company's continued support for darts in Eswatini. The event was organised to honour winners from the previous season. Last year, ESRIC contributed E150 000 towards the elite league, and Ngcobo pledged that the company would renew its sponsorship next year.
