Stunning
One of the most talked about matches of the day saw Plush Communications pull off a stunning upset over the previously dominant EBBBB# team from Es-watini Electricity Company (EEC). The encounter, billed as one of the day's headline fixtures, certainly lived up to expectations, with Plush displaying tactical brilliance and composure under pressure to seal a narrow yet deserved victory.
League Organiser Vusi H Dlamini, speaking at the prize presentation, praised participants for their competitive spirit and sportsmanship. "The standard of play continues to rise with each outing," he noted. "Today's matches were filled with thrilling moments and determination. We commend all the teams for their efforts and congratulate the winners." He also reminded participants that the next round of games would take place in two weeks, urging golfers to remain committed and continue improving their game. An elated Brian Mayisela, reflecting on their win, said: "It was a hard-fought contest, and we are proud of our performance. Having played with my partner for a while now, our chemistry really worked in our favour today."
Adding to the day's excitement was the appearance of former Prime Minister Cleopas Sipho Dlamini, a well-known golf enthusiast, who was spotted in action during the tournament. Displaying impressive technique and a smooth swing, the former head of government attracted plenty of admiration from fellow golfers and spectators alike. Though he left before the media could catch a word with him, his relaxed demeanour and jovial interactions post-game made it clear that his love for the sport remains undiminished.
