Swaziland Royal Insurance Corporation continues to find ways, of not only making lighter the burden of unexpectedly losing a loved one lighter, but also of ensuring their memories live longer. Wonkhe-Wonkhe Funeral Plan now offers plenty optional additional benefits.
On top of being affordable, Wonkhe-Wonkhe Funeral Plan now offers the optional benefits of tombstone, monthly family support, grocery, electricity and airtime vouchers.
At an additional E25, 00 per month, the family gets monthly support of E2, 000 – for a total of 6 months – on death of the principal member. The money received can be used to keep family life running smoothly long after the funeral.
The tombstone benefit is available to those who would like to memorize the lives of their loved ones. It is available at either 30% or 50% of the cover amount with the minimum value a family can receive being E5, 000. This means that it is only available to those buying E10, 000 funeral cover or more. Furthermore, the tombstone benefit is only available to the principal member or their spouse, not the entire family. The tombstone money is paid out together with the funeral cover amount.
An extra E5,70 entitles the family to an additional benefit that includes E1, 000 groceries, E300 electricity and E200 airtime vouchers. Airtime is necessary when coordinating the funeral, while the electricity can be used during the night vigil or even beyond it.
